Sin: Committed By Man ~ Hated By God ~ Forgiven By Jesus Pt. 1 The Fall Of Man
All throughout scripture we see that God hates sin. When time began and man was created there was no separation between man and God which meant there was no sin in the world. From the point in time when Adam and Eve sinned though we see the separation between humans and God, otherwise known as the fall of man. Also we see from the beginning that God punishes sinners for their sin. In Genesis 2:16-17 God tells Adam that he can eat of any tree of the garden, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”, is off completely off limits. Now we all know that if someone tells us not to do something, as human beings we want to do exactly what we have been told not to do. Later in the chapter God created woman from the rib of man. I'm not sure whether God created Eve with a knowledge of what He had told Adam or if Adam relayed the message to her, but as we will see in the next chapter Eve knows even though God gave Adam the command before she was created.
